Day 1
Lilayi Lodge, Zambia
11:00 JHB – Lusaka flight
30min transfer to Lilayi Lodge

Day 2
The Big Drop
78km ride from Lilayi Lodge, off the escarpment and down into the Zambezi Valley. The best, fastest, most natural single track one could hope for.
The route is physically demanding with technical sections and a long downhill portage at the end. The ride ends at the Kafue River. Expect a 6-hour day. 40min boat transfer to Kiambi Lodge which is on the confluence of the mighty Zambezi River.
Day 3
Kiambi Lodge
40min boat transfer to the previous days drop off point. 30km / 2-hour single track ride along the Kafue and Zambezi River, ending at Kiambi Lodge.
Brunch on the banks of the Zambezi. Late afternoon island sandbank braai. Sundowner game viewing by boat.
Day 4
The Way Up
50km ride back out of the valley via the original dirt road, ending on the outskirts of Lusaka. A few rough sections with 3 or 4 steep climbs. Expect 3 hours.
40min transfer to a private gym for a shower followed by a lovely lunch at the Villager’s Restaurant.
30min transfer to Lusaka airport. 3pm Lusaka – JHB flight.
