Day 1
Lusaka to Kiambi Lodge
The ride takes you from the highlands of Lusaka, off the escarpment to the lower Zambezi valley.
The route is 110 km long and compromises of many single track paths. Expect 4-5 hours.
Day 2
Kiambi Lodge to Kariba Inns
Today’s ride takes you upstream along the mighty Zambezi river, ending at Lake Kariba.
The route consists to footpaths connecting the many rural villages dotted along the river banks. Total distance is 155km. Expect 5 hours.
Day 3
Kariba back to Kariba
A short local ride in and around the local hills of Kariba and along the sandy shor5es of the lake, followed by a tour of the dam wall by boat.
Day 4
Kariba Inns to Lusaka
The ride take us back up the Zambezi escarpment via the Kafue Hydro dam, ending ta Lalayi lodge, Lusaka.
The route is a mix of dirt roads and footpaths. Distance is 190km. Expect 7 hours.
