OVERVIEW: A mountain bike journey through the Namibian desert from Omaruru to Swakopmund

Day 1
Ai Aiba Lodge, Erongo Mountains, Namibia
After arriving at Hosea Kutako airport , it’s a 3 hour shuttle to Ai aiba lodge.
A late 25 km sundowner ride through the concervancy.
Day 2
Ai aiba lodge to elephant lodge
75 Km Ride from Ai Aiba to the mighty Spitzkoppe
A 75 km ride to the town of Uis, heading in the direction of Brandberg mountain. The route consists of single tracks paths, keep tracks and gravel roads
Day 3
Elephant lodge to Brandberg White Lady Lodge
Today’s ride takes us along the dry Ugab river bed to the White Lady Lodge. This is the area of the desert elephants and with some luck we should see them.
The ride is 65 km. Expect 4 to 5 hours.
Day 4
Brandberg White Lady Lodge to swakopmund.
Day 4’s ride takes us around the eastern side of the Brandberg mountain, ending at the C35. The route consists of keep track paths and open desert plains.
Total distance is 70 km. Expect 4 to 5 hours.
